FALL IRON POUR 2018

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 22

BronzeAge & Nordic Iron host a celebration of the first day of Fall- the Autumnal Equinox- with a molten iron experience. Join us for a day of creation, celebration and community.

CREATION

All ages are welcome to scratch a design into a sand (scratch tile) on select days and evenings the week before the event. It takes about 45 minutes to one hour. Then, watch it poured in molten iron on September 22. Reserve a scratch block in advance because we have a limited number available! You or your whole family will have a cast iron creation from the pour.  Please call, email or Facebook message us for more info about making and reserving a scratch block. $30 fee per scratch block (already includes sales tax).

CELEBRATION

Bring a lawn chair to enjoy an outdoor iron pour and performance pours:  FREE and open to the public. Locally grown Falls Art Market runs from 10:00am – 5:00pm that day.

COMMUNITY

Really want to get involved in the experience? Participate in Sand Mold Workshops offered September 15 & 16. Opportunity to make something in iron and be part of the team that makes the molten metal happen.  Jordan Eaton of Nordic Iron will teach you how to make a two-part sand mold.
